\nPforzheim, June 2, 2017 – To support aircraft maintenance companies in South- and\u00a0West-Germany, Carl Dillenius Luftfahrttechnik GmbH is expanding its AOG services. In\u00a0the event of technical problems with aircraft, Dillenius supplies maintenance crews with\u00a0semi-finished metal products and standard parts and produces drawing parts in its own\u00a0metal workshop. In particular, maintenance companies that have temporary parts\u00a0shortages will benefit from the new service. The service includes express transports to\u00a0the site. Dillenius also offers a foldable carrier for transporting aircraft engines.
\nAircraft that do not fly cost money and seriously interfere with the air operations of\u00a0airlines. For this reason, so-called aircraft-on-ground (AOG) situations, in which aircraft\u00a0unexpectedly have technical defects that require immediate repairs, are a serious\u00a0problem and must be solved quickly.
\nFrankfurt a.M., Frankfurt Hahn, Saarbr\u00fccken, Stuttgart and Strasbourg are busy\u00a0airports. Due to massive flight operations and the daily use of aircraft, AOGs are part of\u00a0everyday life. With Carl Dillenius Luftfahrttechnik GmbH, airlines and maintenance\u00a0companies at these airports now have a reliable partner for ad-hoc procurement of\u00a0metal parts. Dillenius started its AOG services in 2016, supplying Cologne \/ Bonn and\u00a0Munich airports. Based in the northern Black Forest, Dillenius draws on more than 160\u00a0years of experience in metal processing and extensive expertise in the production of\u00a0small parts and special transport solutions for aircraft.
